Ethical Management Policy

Hyundai Polytech develops company-wide ethical management activities.
To establish ethical management as a desirable organizational culture rather than declarative phrases, we are building ethical management through the following initiatives.

  • Establishment of Transparent Management
    Hyundai Polytech aims to create a healthy and clean corporate culture by performing all organizational tasks honestly and transparently. This is not limited to just work tasks, but focuses on incorporating organizational values and ethical principles into all activities. We will strive to establish transparent management through specific activities such as advancing corporate governance, securing accounting transparency, prohibiting political activities, activating internal management information sharing, and operating an ethical management committee.
  • Establishment of Fair Transaction Culture
    Hyundai Polytech implements a 'No Giving, No Receiving' campaign to prohibit unfair acts that may pursue private interests using business authority or undermine fairness, and builds mutual trust through fair and transparent transactions to pursue common development from a long-term perspective. We aim for fair and transparent competition within the free market economic order. Additionally, we conduct regular surveys of partner satisfaction and improve identified risks to achieve fair purchasing processes. We are enhancing fairness by introducing advanced purchasing techniques.
  • Establishment of Rational Business Practices
    Hyundai Polytech has established an ethics code and ethics standards, and aims to establish rational business practices company-wide by writing ethics practice pledges.
    We conduct ethical management campaigns and ethical management activity evaluations to improve insufficient areas discovered through evaluations.
  • Spread of Socially Friendly Management
    Hyundai Polytech aims to achieve management that coexists with local communities and is friendly to the environment by developing social contribution activities and expanding environmentally friendly activities.

Ethical Management Organization

Hyundai Polytech forms an ethical management committee led by the CEO, and it may be replaced by a personnel committee when necessary.
The ethical management committee operates a whistleblower system to receive reports of fair trade violations and ethical management violations from employees. Additionally, it is responsible for disciplinary matters when the ethics code is violated.

Ethical Management Education

Hyundai Polytech employees complete online ethics education conducted non-face-to-face annually. This ethics education is composed of legally mandatory education,
mainly targeting all office employees who must complete the education. Personnel working on-site receive group education by time slot using educational materials.
Through this educational system, we enhance ethical values and capabilities, and will continue to strengthen the organization's overall ethical management in the future.

Ethical Management Practice Guidelines

Hyundai Polytech has prepared a document that guides specific ethical management practice methods to emphasize ethical management. This document was published to encourage all employees to actively participate in ethical management and
help them self-check. From July 2022, we are conducting ethical management practice checks for all employees to promote ethical behavior throughout the organization.

we need active cooperation from partner employees regarding our commitment to ethical management and sincerity.

Ethics Code

Through the ethics code, all Hyundai Polytech employees pledge to do their best for ethical management and fulfill fair and transparent responsibilities.

  • All employees respect customers, do their best for customer satisfaction, fulfill responsibilities and obligations for customers, and secure customer trust.
  • All employees faithfully follow basic principles in handling all matters, respect commercial customs and order, and perform all tasks honestly and transparently to create a healthy and clean corporate culture.
  • All employees maintain dignity and honor based on Hyundai Polytech people's pride and self-esteem, and always strive to receive respect and trust.
  • All employees do not engage in unfair acts that may pursue private interests using business authority or undermine fairness.
  • All employees do not engage in acts of receiving money or gifts, entertainment, hospitality, insider trading with interested parties, or providing convenience, and aim for common development through fair and transparent transactions with partners and customers.
  • All employees protect customer information or secrets obtained in the course of business and do not use them for improper purposes.
  • All employees strive for continuous self-development and strengthening of core competencies.

Ethics Standards

Hyundai Polytech's ethics standards apply to the entire company, including domestic and foreign investment companies with management rights. We also introduce these ethics standards to the company's stakeholders and recommend understanding and practice.
Company members must comply with these ethics standards and have an obligation to pledge compliance. If questions arise regarding interpretation and application of ethics standards, they should consult with the ethical management department and seek advice.

In case of violation of ethics standards, the company will take measures according to company regulations. This means measures to maintain and value ethics standards. Ethical management executives may establish and implement ethics practice guidelines if deemed necessary in relation to the implementation of ethics standards. The company will establish and operate an ethics committee responsible for deliberation and resolution of matters related to ethical management, and detailed regulations will be separately established.

Ethical Management Activities

Hyundai Polytech distributed ethical management practice documents to partners during holidays for transparent and fair transactions. We strengthen communication among employees to improve employee ethics levels,
and spread social responsibility and ethical culture. Additionally, we enhance efforts to comply with partner ethics standards through strengthening win-win cooperation. We find mutual consultation points through communication with partners.
