Water Pollution Management Activities

Operation of Sedimentation Membrane Wastewater Treatment Plant

Regular management of wastewater generated through quarterly membrane cleaning work at the wastewater treatment plant is an important effort to effectively control water pollutants and minimize pollution prevention and wastewater treatment generated at Plant 2.

Through cooperation with the Wonnam Industrial Complex wastewater treatment plant, we are conducting active management activities to prevent wastewater from flowing in other directions. Additionally, environmental liability insurance for wastewater is being implemented as an important measure to emphasize environmental responsibility and prepare for potential environmental issues that may arise in the future.

Air Pollution Management Activities

Air Pollution Prevention through Self-Monitoring of Air Emission Facilities

Hyundai Polytech conducts self-monitoring at air emission facilities 1-2 times per month to ensure thorough management so that air pollutants do not exceed legal standards. To date, air pollutants have not exceeded legal standards and operations are stable.

However, in preparation for the future, we have subscribed to environmental liability insurance for air in case legal standards are exceeded.
This measure is implemented for the purpose of securing appropriate response and compensation in case unexpected environmental issues arise.
Through this, we emphasize responsibility for environmental management and aim to continue safe business operations through continuous environmental monitoring.
