Social Contribution Policy and Governance

Hyundai Polytech contributes to regional development and practices coexistence with neighbors through local social contribution activities. Through this, we also aim to increase corporate value.
Hyundai Polytech's social contribution is implemented through the organizational operation of the Management Planning Team and Management Support Team through the CEO's goal setting and review.

Social Contribution Activities

• 
  Local Community Support

  Hyundai Polytech collaborated with the police station and Eumseong County Office to deliver home appliances and daily necessities to marginalized groups in the local community.
  We participated in the 'One Company, One Helping Hand' movement by forming sister partnerships, where one organization and one company form a sister partnership to participate in productive helping hand activities to save struggling farms and companies.

  Additionally, we actively supported marginalized groups through briquette/heating oil support projects for low-income households and elderly living alone during winter.
  In particular, Hyundai Polytech plans to promote briquette support to resolve heating blind spots during February-March when heating fuel is depleted. We have consistently donated to Eumseong County villages annually, making efforts for the local community through winter support funds, sports events, summer health management costs, etc.

  Support for Future Generations

  Hyundai Polytech has spared no effort in supporting future generations by donating to domestic universities such as Halla University and Chungbuk National University.
  We have donated a total of 300 million won in scholarships over 10 years, 30 million won annually to Halla University since 2012
• 
  Domestic and International Relief Projects

  Hyundai Polytech supports domestic and international relief projects, overseas volunteer work, and children/youth support through donations to the international NGO "Happy People" and international relief organizations.
  Recently, we are taking the lead in practicing social responsibility and spreading a culture of sharing by supporting concentrated heavy rain damage recovery and flood victims. As a member of the Korea Federation of Medium-sized Enterprises, we participated in special fundraising in July 2023 for concentrated heavy rain damage recovery and
  flood victim support.
